Crop Receipts Templates

IFC Crop Receipts Project developed text templates of Crop Receipts based on current legislation and considering the most used additional points from the users experience. For more convenience, you need to fill in the lines which are highlighted in blue. Crop receipts are usually used in parallel with different types of contracts as a security or extra performance guarantee. Considering this, it is important to avoid doubling of obligations and harmonize terms and conditions of the crop receipt and the contract. The corresponding clause should be added to the text of the contract, you may download the recommended text below. Recommended templates will help to avoid most typical mistakes, and can be used by experienced farmers and creditors as well as those who only start working with Crop Receipts.

Financial Crop Receipt – is the unconditional farmer’s liability to pay certain amount of money to creditor, linked to the price, volume and quality of the pledged crop.

Commodity Crop Receipt – is the unconditional farmer’s liability to deliver commodities to the creditor on a pre-agreed terms.

Crop Receipts are issued in Ukrainian language, but depending on the agreement of farmer and a creditor the text can translated and the translation can be notarized.
